| Guide to the Houses and Streets of East & West Hanney |

| To make a Guide like the one on sale in the shop you need to be able to print on
A3 size paper, but quite adequate results can also be achieved on A4 sheets. Two sets of instructions follow: a) for use with an A3 printer, and b) for use with an A4 printer. | |||
a) | IF YOU HAVE AN A3 PRINTER | ||
| Using A3 paper, preferably of 100gsm weight: | |||
| 1) | [ Download file A3Side1.pdf ] and print it on one side of an A3 sheet | ||
| 2) | [ Download file A3Side2.pdf ] and print it
on the other side of the same sheet
NOTE. Arrange, if you can, for the index end of the second side to be at the East Hanney end of the first side. | ||
| 3) | Fold the sheet in half twice, and you you have your copy of the Guide. | ||
b) | IF YOU HAVE AN A4 PRINTER | ||
| It is possible to resize the above files when you print them so that they fit on A4 size paper, but that is not recommended because the result is too small to read easily. | |||
| It is much better to download and print the Guide in sections designed for A4 pages, as follows: | |||
| 1) | For the cover and notes, [ download file A4Cover.pdf ] | ||
| 2) | For the West Hanney Guide, [ download A4WHMap.pdf ]. | ||
| 3) | For the index, [ download file A4Index.pdf ] | ||
| 4) | For the East Hanney Guide, [ download A4EHMap.pdf ] | ||
| If you print 1) on one side of an A4 sheet and 2) on the other side of the
same sheet, and 3) and 4) on the two sides of another sheet, the result will be similar
to the A3 version of the Guide.
NOTE. Arrange, if you can, for the left side of 2) to be at the bottom of 1), and the left side of 4) to be at the top of 3). | |||
